film
many people don't know this but i actually learned how to shoot on film. my father was a photojournalist who documented every step of my childhood on his old film Nikon. i'm a full-fledge fan of digital myself (for so many reasons: being able to see the photo right away, having endless "film", being able to delete those i didn't like, etc.) but film will always hold a soft spot for me.
these were taken of me by my friend david, a very talented photographer who dabbles in both digital and film. i wanted to share them with you.

chelsey & kelvin
this weekend i had the opportunity to shoot the engagement photos for chelsey & kelvin. chelsey is also my boyfriend's former roommate's sister (wow, that's a mouthful!) so i was extra nervous. but they are both such nice and easy going people that the shoot was so much fun and produced such nice photos of them!

they have been together since high school! he proposed on their 10 year anniversary :) kelvin is also a graphic designer, so many of the photos will have his own little addition to it!
